Join Together examines the importance of the rock festival and how each of the major festivals reflected the music and society of their times. Each festival is explored in detail accompanied by a discussion on the music and artists, the evolution of the festival, the social climate as experienced by the various generations involved, and the alternate universe of rock festivals.
